SWEDISH EARLY 1900S BLACK LAPELLED WAISTCOAT. SIZE CA EU 52-54 (US/UK42-44) Antique with relatively narrow lapelsDESCRIPTION Although this waistcoat bears no labels, we can say with a high degree of confidence that it is of Swedish origin and was tailored in the early 20th century. It is made from a black wool cloth, typical of the period. The waistcoat has a high fastening and closes with six buttons. It features rounded lapels and three front pockets one at chest height and two lower pockets. At the back is an adjustable buckle, allowing the fit to be altered.
