High fired to 2350 degrees in a homemade kiln in a gas reduction type atmosphere. Glossy, handmade unique layers of flowing glazes. Clean finish. High end, individually made, unique pieces masterfully hand thrown on a pottery wheel. Artist signature is represented as a traditional potter's "chop" (hand carved clay stamped frog). All pieces are handcrafted by artisan from Virginia, USA.
