1960s Pierre Balmain Lace Cuffed Dress designer-mollie-parnis This drapes down to theFrom the Pret A Porter line this early 1960s dress is a chic sheath of black velvet with a surprising lace detailing! The cut is simple and stark with a high rounded neck line that has been left unadorned. The velvet is cut to fall to just at the ankle and has no horizontal waist seam to break the line it is a single drape of fabric whose shape ix created by long vertical seaming. A small slit is on one side of the hem. The sleeves are cut straight
